Nob Hill Forum
Nob Hill Forum is an innovative and customizable studio space for entrepreneurs, creators, and craftsmen, based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The Forum is defined by the people within Nob Hill Forum who are free to gather, socialize, and work independently or collectively. The problem they were facing had nothing to do with the idea or the execution of it, but rather, as a need for a strong brand persona and positioning. While at Sandoval, the team and I helped them translate to their audience that Nob Hill Forum is a community which is poised to help businesses grow in a way that suits their uncompromising individuality, all while contributing to the local roots of the Nob Hill neighborhood. We set them apart from their competition with a brand tone that redefines success every day, with like-minded people who do what they do–not for money or notoriety–but because they couldn't imagine doing anything else. Additionally, it was important for them to be able to use their logo across all mediums similarly and be produced as neon signage. With that in mind, I created a simplistic and modern linear style. I paired it with the use of rich colors and natural textures, such as the concrete, onyx, and copper materials that you would find in their physical space. Our solution resonated with their audiences which lead to a successful grand opening and spaces that filled quickly. Having a heavy foot-trafficked location and a street-accessible view through sidewalk-facing windows, they're slated for success. Our work for them is sure to continue to turn heads from passerby.
